Course Objectives: Sağlık ekibinin bir üyesi olarak, halk sağlığı hemşireliği alanlarında birey, aile ve toplum gruplarının öncelikli sağlık sorunlarının belirlenmesi, çözüm önerilerinin sunulması ve sağlığın geliştirilmesi faaliyetlerine yönelik farkındalık kazandırmaktır.

Learning Outputs

The students who have succeeded in this course;
"1. Defines the historical development and basic concepts of Public Health Nursing.
2. Understands the functioning of the national health care system.
3. Explain the roles and functions of the public health nurse for the areas of application (school health, home care, family health, occupational health, environmental health, elderly health and community mental health).
4. Understands the importance of early diagnosis and screening.
5. Identifies risk groups and fragile groups in society together with their problems.
6. Tells the basic behaviors that will create a healthy lifestyle and healthy environment.
7. Define health programs that protect and improve health in our country.
8. Plan what needs to be done to strengthen society."
