Course Objectives: Using nursing models and theories in accordance with the student's nursing philosophy and individual needs; to provide knowledge and skills to protect and develop health of individual, family and community, to diagnose health problems, to plan, implement and evaluate appropriate interventions.

Learning Outputs

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1. Understands the nature and process of nursing.
2. Determines the problems of the healthy / sick individual, plans and evaluates the maintenance process according to a model.
3. Knows the safety precautions for the patient.
4. Patient acceptance and discharge, bed knows how to do.
5. Knows hot and cold applications.
6. Knows self-care applications.
7. Knows asepsis and rules.
8. Understand oral and parenteral drug applications.
9. Comprehend excretion, respiratory and urinary system applications

Course Content

n line with the Life Model Based Nursing Model; health data collection, patient moving and body mechanics, patient acceptance and discharge, hot and cold application, self-care applications, asepsis, drug applications, excretory, respiratory and urinary system and applications of the theoretical information for applications.
