Course Objectives: | Upon completion of the course, students will learn fundamental principles of narration in detail and comprehend how storytelling is formed, presented and recepted in feature film and television media. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; 1) understand the principles of dramatic arc. 2) learn fundamentals of storytelling. 3) discuss basic narration theories. 4) discuss the differences and similarities between narration in feature film and television products. 5) learn history of storytelling. 6) discuss the connection between genres and narration. |
Film genres and screenplay relationship, develop a story idea, dramaturgical techniques, character development, motivation, dialogue, adaptation screenplay, visual storytelling, writing a synopsis, complete the story outline and write feature film |
