Course Objectives: | In general, it is aimed that the student has knowledge and ideas on many issues, from the basics of theater acting, studio ethics, microphone use. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; 1. You will have general knowledge about acting. 2. During the character creation process, you will be able to use the basics of the art of drama. 3. You will learn how to speak a common language with the players you work with. 4. You will learn about the voiceover processes of animated characters. 5. You will learn how to choose the right voice actor. 6. You will be able to collaborate with the voice actor to develop your character. 7. You will be familiar with the workflow of The Voice job. 8. You will have an idea of quality assessment of the voice work, understanding the voice work and reading the work done. 9. You will learn about voicing your own character and/or the process of voicing an artist. |

1) | Theatre History, Ancient Greek Theatre, character creation during the development of the theatre during its birth and arrival to the present day. | ||
2) | Considerations during the creation of a character... Imperatives... The importance of observing the world in character creation. Adapting elements that we observe in real life to our character. | ||

4) | Working with students on selected texts from W.Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's dream.".. Discussion on handling a text... Studies on students ' portrayal of characters in the work. | ||
5) | Conversations on Radio Theatre... What is Radio Theatre? How is it saved? How is performance performed? The effect of this knowledge on animation. | ||
6) | Introduction to microphone acting... Who is the microphone player? In what subjects does this profession require competence? If we want to voice our own character, what should we know? | ||
7) | Studies on microphone acting... How should the relationship between an animated character and a microphone player be? | ||
8) | What are the considerations when choosing a microphone player for a character? What is the value of voice and speech for an animated character? | ||
9) | How should the workflow be during an animation's voice-over project? | ||
10) | How to make player preferences during an animation voice-over project? What should be observed? What needs to be done, don'ts… | ||
11) | General information about a voice-over studio and workflow... Students will have knowledge about technical subjects. Information about studio ethics, how to act in the studio and process management. | ||
12) | A critique of a voiced, finished animation project... What is good voice-over, bad voice-over? How is it distinguished? Understanding and reading voice-over work. | ||
13) | A student's work to perform a voice-over of an animatic project created by himself. Projects in the classroom will be evaluated. | ||
14) | Students serve as voice actors and project director in each other's projects. Voice acting and evaluation; general evaluation. |
