Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is to provide students with the background and experience for technical hardware, software technologies and specialization teminologies used in the production and post-production industry. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; 1. Will be equipped with up-to-date information about the technical preparation process that should be done before and during the shooting, including Visual Effect techniques, especially Pre-Production. 2. Will be able to define all the field specialties (modeler, rigger, texture artist, character animator, compositing artist, roto artist, matte painter, CFX, FX Artist, matchmove artist) and responsibilities that are valid in these processes. 3. Will be able to analyze and assimilate the application techniques, software and technologies used in every stage of a production that includes a Visual Effect. 4. Will master the process of producing and preparing the equipment used to facilitate post-production processes in the Greenbox video shooting techniques and visual effect production process, and auxiliary equipment changed for visual effect application, and they will gain background in professional quality post-production design. 5. Will be conscious about the software and hardware process between the production and post-production processes, the pipeline, which is used all over the world; and will have up-to-date information and infrastructure on the key elements necessary for the management of a successful production process. 6. Will gain industry-level information and infrastructure on all compositing and color grading techniques used during the production of a highly convincing visual effect scene by combining real space shots with 3D animation designs. |
This course includes all VFX technical steps and applications that will provide students with the technical skills and knowledge to combine the techniques applied in the visual effects used in motion pictures, the 3D Animation character they designed, the objects and/or vehicles with real shooting, and successfully use two different disciplines. |
