Course Objectives: | The objectives of this course are to define basic concepts and models of communication; to analyse new communication technologies; to enable students to gain knowledge about interpersonal communicaiton, teamwork, problem solving strategies and ethical issues in communication. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; 1- Use skills for effective speaking and listening. 2- Define different views on the new communication technologies. 3- Define ethical issues in communication. 4- Apply basic principles of teamwork. |
This course covers topics about communication, functions of communication, ethical issues in communication, communication theories, types of communication, new communication technologies, speaking and listening skills, essential factors for effective communication in health organisations. |
