Course Objectives: Since maritime trade is one of the areas where uniform regulations are most needed due to its structure, numerous international conventions have been issued in this field. The aim of this course is to examine the international conventions and protocols related to maritime trade, especially the ones which Turkey is a party.

1) will have intensive knowledge about special regulations about sea and maritime trade.
2) will learn the historical development process of international treaties.
3) will compare the international conventions and agreements with regulations of domestic law.
