Course Objectives: | To understand the definition, usage areas, advantages, disadvantages, types, materials and laboratory stages of maxillofacial prostheses. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; 1. To introduce cases that can be prosthetically rehabilitated in the oral and facial region 2. To introduce the types of prostheses (stent, splint, obturator, speech prosthesis, epithesis) that can be applied in the chin and face area. 3. To teach the construction stages, clinical and laboratory procedures of chin and facial prostheses 4. To acquire skills such as introducing the materials used in chin and facial prostheses. |
