Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to gain planning skills by understanding the components used in removable partial dentures.

1. Will be able to classify segmented edentulous arches;
2. Will be able to plan according to the biomechanics of removable partial prosthesis;
3. will be able to compare removable partial prosthesis components;
4. Will be able to carry out the final stages of the removable partial prosthesis laboratory;
5. Will be able to distinguish sensitive attachment types used in removable partial dentures;
6. Will be able to explain model analysis, measurement techniques, occlusal recordings in removable partial dentures;
7. Will be able to apply skeletal casting and laboratory finishing processes in removable partial prostheses;
8. You will be able to interpret the main connector types that can be preferred in different partial edentulous cases.

Course Content

Gaining the ability to plan by comprehending the components used in removable partial dentures and to carry out the laboratory production stages of the metal skeleton and acrylic parts in these prostheses; repair, lining, rebagging techniques and different types of attachments that can be used. At the same time, the production stages of full dentures in the laboratory will be completed and the types of attachments applied in overdenture implants and the production stages of digital removable prostheses will be evaluated.
