Course Objectives: | This couse aims to teach ergonomic working principles, the purpose and responsibilities of the assistant dentist, the tools used in the practice, how to do four-handed dentistry and the layout of the office for oral dental health technicians |
The students who have succeeded in this course; Will have information about the definition and history of ergonomics, To know ergonomic working methods at the bedside and in the clinic, Will have knowledge about four-handed dentistry, Will learn the purpose and responsibilities of oral health technicians, They will learn what ergonomic principles are and how to work in accordance with these principles. |
This course covers the definition of ergonomics, ergonomics in dentistry, duties and responsibilities of dental assistant, ergonomics in dental assistant, tools used in the practice, office layout, four-handed dentistry, working order, oral dental assistant-physician-laboratory relationship, ergonomic principles. |
