Course Objectives: | To have knowledge about basic concepts and principles of learning. To be informed about the various factors affecting the learning of individuals and the basic theories that deal with learning psychology. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; At the end of this course, Makes the definition of the learning. Transfer knowledge about learning to teaching practices. Establish the relationship between learning and brain structures. Know brain structure, its development, and physiological basis of learning. Knows basic concepts of behavioral theories (classical, instrumental, actual learning, etc.), and approaches to human learning. Knows the basic concepts of cognitive theories (social cognitive, cognitive) (self-competence, self-regulation, etc.), and approaches to human learning. Know the basic components of memory (cognitive processes) and associate memory structure with educational applications. Knows cognitive development and sociocultural theories (stages of Piaget, basic concepts of Vygotsky) and approach to human learning. Know self-regulation, metacognitive process, effective learning and working strategies. Know the emotional and cognitive sides of motivation. It creates a classroom environment that motivates students. |
