Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to provide the students with information about the health and the worker's health, the quality and the importance of the health of the worker, the health and safety practices in the workplace, the policies towards the risk groups, the health, the workplace health, the work safety regulations, the physiological stresses and ergonomics, It is aimed to educate the knowledge and conscious health manpower in the subjects such as overview, business hygiene and chemical factors, physical factors at the workplace, overview of work accidents, first aid organization at the workplace and first aid training. It is aimed to emphasize the importance of quality management in health services.

Course Content

Occupational health problems in the workplace, physiological stresses and ergonomics in work life, worker nutrition, occupational diseases, occupational diseases, occupational diseases with mercury (mercury and lead), occupations with solvents examination of diseases, organophosphorus insecticides, dusts found in working life and health hazards, overview of work accidents.
