Course Objectives: | The purpose of this course is to provide individual counseling supervision to last year psychological counseling guidance students so as to enrich their repertoire of knowledge/skills/attitudes and thus to promote greater sense of self-efficacy in their professional growth. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; 1.Demonstrate sufficient skills and easy in practicing basic therapeutic conditions. 2.Shows ease and mastery in basic counseling skills (i.e., reflecting meaning/content/process; caring etc.) and shows knowledge in building rapport, managing a working therapeutic relationship and conducting appropriate termination. 3.Sufficiently emphasize both content and process in his/her counseling practices. 4.Conceptualize client difficulties according to a variety of theoretical stand points. 5.Discuss a variety of interventions for various client issues. |
