Course Objectives: | Gaining theoretical knowledge about the preventive function of counseling and guidance of students; to be informed about the basic life skills and positive young development programs, especially about the variables that can be risky and protective factors for the individuals in the school and counseling environment. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; 1.The preventive mission of psychological counseling and guidance explains the history of basic principles and preventive counseling. 2.Describe prevention levels and prevention theories. 3.Explain what risk and protective factors may be for individuals. 4.Have knowledge of the work that can be done on various topics in the framework of basic life skills and positive young development programs. 5.Describe the process for the preparation of counseling measures and advisory counseling reports. |
