Course Objectives: | Explaining basic concepts of child abuse and neglect, theories and theory relationships, help and therapeutic help process of child abuse and neglect, principles, plans and stages of possible and existing psycho-educational programs, national and international developments on child abuse and neglect. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; 1.Explains principles and basic notions of child abuse and neglect. 2.Gives examples for child rights. 3.Compares child abuse and neglect theories and models. 4.Discusses child abuse and neglect effects on children. 5.Recommends solutions for prevention of child abuse and neglect. 6.Lists the stages of therapeutic help process. 7.Prepares principles, plan and stages of psycho-educational program. 8.Lists people and foundations to apply in a child abuse and neglect case. |
