Course Objectives: The aim of the course is that teacher candidates acquire the skills "developing-applying drama activities" by the help of theoretical knowledge and practical examples.

2-Gaining the practice experience by participating in drama activities
3-Applying drama activities with his/her theoretical knowledge

1) The history of drama. The description, meaning of educational drama, its differences from similar terms (drama, theatre, creative drama, psychodrama, process drama, play) and its similarities between educational drama and other similar terms.
2) The improvements increasing the importance of educational drama at the present time, learning name, greeting and meeting activities
3) The important points in educational drama practices, communication and movement activities
4) The benefits of educational drama, practice stages of educational drama, story dramatization examples
5) Necessary skills and processes for drama, relaxation techniques and exercises
6) Special techniques in educational drama, sensory activities
7) Midterm
8) Conducting drama activities as appropriate according to instruction plan, drama in different settings
9) Extemporisation and creative activities
10) Educational drama examples in second language education
11) Educational drama experiences in education of social skills
12) Educational drama examples in concept education
13) Educational drama examples in values education
14) Educational drama examples in environment education, the evaluation of the course
