Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is to enable students to gain knowledge and skills about designing, developing and evaluating educational software within the framework of theories and models. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; Defines the concept of educational software. Explain the types of educational software. Compares different types of educational software. Associates learning-teaching theories with educational software. Design educational software according to a software development process model. Develops educational software using software development tools. Evaluates the educational software within the framework of evaluation models. |
Basic concepts; features of different kinds of software for different learning needs; stages of a software development process; the relationship between software development process and instructional design; software development in accordance with instructional design stages; software scenario development; interface design for software; developed software application, evaluation. |
