Course Objectives: The purpose of this course is to teach students recording and reporting system of accounting applying the basic accounting principles and evaluation methods in accordance with the Turkish uniform accounting chart in an electronic environment.

Students who successfully complete the course are expected to learn,

1) Purpose and philosophy of accounting and recording process,"
2) how to use the accounting information system, and users of accounting information system.
3) all kind of accounting documents that the companies use,
4) how to fill the e-invoice, substitute of invoice.
5) how to fill the payroll and tax return forms.
6) how to create financial statements in an electronic environment.

Course Content

This course aims how to open accounts, to enter accounting transactions, to make year end adjustments, to create worksheets and some reports to meet the requirements of management and also financial reports in an electronic environment by means of applying case studies.
