Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to teach ability of using physiotherapy and rehabilitation modalities in the prevention and solution of problems in industry and busines.

Learning Outputs

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1. Define the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation in the industry.
2. Identify common problems in the work area.
3. Know the occupational health and safety legislation.
4. Make the risk analysis in the work area.
5. Know the prevention strategies from risk in the business area.
6. Use physiotherapy and rehabilitation in the business area.

Course Content

This course contains the aims of physiotherapy and rehabilitation in industry, occupational health and safety legislation, making risk analysis of the work, work-related health problems, work-related accidents and prevention tips, work-related cardiopulmonary diseases, work-related musculoskeletal problems, ergonomic work arrangements, ergonomic work place equipment, physiotherapy and rehabilitation in office environment , physiotherapy and rehabilitation in heavy-duty wrokers, physiotherapy and rehabilitation at factory workers that works standing position, physiotherapy and rehabilitation for health employees.
