Course Objectives: | It’s aimed to examine normal development process, to teach stages of normal development, normal development of motion, progressive biomechanics, development of spinal curve, nerve system, reflexes, development of sense and perception, development of cardiovascular and pulmonary systems and psychomotor system and pathological reflexes, dysfunction of motion and motor development tests and ptactices. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; •List normal motor development process. •Analyse motor movement and sensorial development. •Discuss situations that show abnormal motor development. •Relate abnormal reflexes. •Differentiate abnormal muscle tone, dysfunction and joint contractures. •Draw a conclusion from examination findings of neurology, orthopaedy and physiotherapy. |
This course includes normal development, embryonic development, baby development, factors that effects movement development, psychomotor development, levels of motor organization, assessment of neonatal, pathological reflexes, reflexes and correction reactions and motor development tests |
