1) Acquire the advanced understanding of the acoustic, anatomical, psychological, developmental and social aspects of normal and disordered hearing
2) Acquire the knowledge of the main disorders of auditory system
3) Acquire the basic knowledge required for testing hearing threshold and speech audiometry
4) Describe the processes involved in objective testing of hearing
5) Acquire the basic knowledge required for performing subjective and objective audiological tests

Course Content

Hearing physiology, voice and features, audiometric regulations , hearing measurement techniques, audiometry are , audiometric examination, auditory pathways, audiological examination methods , implementation methods of testing , issues such as audiometry devices are covered in this course.
