Course Objectives: This course is aiming to give information on the operation of the criminal procedure. In this regard, it analyzes characteristics of the courts of first instance and the appellate courts. Besides the measures of investigation and protection are being analyzed.

1. Defines the conditions of the criminal procedure.
2. Has the knowledge on the phase of investigation.
3. Defines the measures of investigation and protection.
4. Analyzes the proceedings in the prosecution phase.
5. Has the knowledge on the evidence and makes assessment on the legality of them.
6. Has the knowledge on the legal remedy.

Course Content

In this course, operation of the criminal procedure is being discussed. As such, the investigation and the prosecution phases are being analyzed, the measures of investigation and protection are being studied. The types of evidences and the methods of obtaining them are the subjects of this course. Finally procedure about legal remedy is being discussed.
