Course Objectives: | "This course strives to underline: The challenges associated with shaping the future The role of interactive planning in creating the future The implications of design thinking to management The role of vision, imagination, and contemplation in the process of design |
The students who have succeeded in this course; The students who have succeeded in this course; 1) Discover and evaluate design opportunities through engaging cultural change and research 2) Interpret cultural meaning and understand user contexts 3) Create an array of diverse ideas and critically refine idea 4) Experiment with prototypes and receive user feedback 5) Iterate and evolve design ideas with ethical boundaries 6) Become familiar, engage, and evaluate small group communication and decision making processes as related to design thinking 7) Demonstrate integration and synthesis of expertise of major subject matter in design projects |
The course aims to provide the students a broad overview of creativity techniques and its essential methods. Analyzing and decomposing the relations and gaining a new way of looking to the problems are the abilities to be proposed in the content of this course. |
