Dersin Amacı: MTK, Deneklerin, Klasik Test Teorisinin aksine, bireysel öğelere tepkilerini modellemeyi içerir.
MTK birçok teknik için önemli avantajlar sunar
Test tasarımı, test denklemi, öğenin değerlendirilmesi dahil olmak üzere, test oluşturma ve kullanmada ortaya çıkan problemlere alternatif önerir. MTK modelleri, kişi tahminlerinin değişmezliği, belirli bir testteki öğelerin toplanması veya örneklenmesi ve öğe parametre tahminlerinin, test kalibrasyonunda kullanılan deneklerin örnekleri sunma gibi avantajlara sahiptir.
