| Course Objectives: | This course will cover the fundamental technologies in multimedia communications and basic network structure. Course objectives can be listed as: Define and discuss major concepts, tools, techniques and methods of multimedia applications; introduce students to real-life multimedia systems and applications to emphasize the relationship between conceptual understanding and real-life applications; general knowledge on representation and transmission of audio and video media; general knowledge on basic network structure. |
