Course Objectives: Paramedic students to gain knowledge and skills about the application of advanced life support and rhythms to diagnose, emergency drug in the protocol and algorithms.

Course Content

Advanced Life Support Perspective, human factors and quality during resuscitation. Recognition and prevention of the patient's condition is deteriorating cardiorespiratory arrest. Acute Coronary Syndromes. Resuscitation in the hospital. Advanced Life Support Algorithm. Airway and ventilation , Cardiac Monitoring, ECG and Rhythm Recognition, defibrillation, cardiac pacing. Prearrest Rhythms. Cardiac Arrest in Special Cases. Aftercare resuscitation. In Pre-Hospital Cardiac Arrest. Blood Gas Analysis and Pulse Oximeter. Decisions about resuscitation. Resuscitation informing the relatives of patients.
