Course Objectives: This course is designed to provide a project environment through which students practice and integrate what they have learned throughout their undergraduate program. The course is intended to provide students of Mechatronics Engineering with an insight on how to prepare and present a Technical Proposal and a Technical Report, how to design, conduct and manage a scientific study, and, if applicable, how to plan and implement a product development process. Other objectives of the course include teaching the skills for finding and reducing information, identifying and allocating resources and also providing awareness for work ethics, academic honesty and constructive criticism.

Learning Outputs

The students who have succeeded in this course;
I- . Apply the fundamentals of mechatronics engineering into the design, analysis and evaluation of mechatronics systems
II. Develop a suitable and effective method to carry out a specified project work
III. Construct an implementation (solution) procedure to obtain reproducible results
IV. Summarize the findings of a project work into a well-written report
V. Display competence in giving effective oral presentations
VI. Recognize the need for being engaged in a life-long learning process
VII. Develop academic honesty concept
VIII. A Design an experimental system, components of a resarch project or a process and meet desired needs of the project
IX- Solve Mechatronics engineering problems through fundamental engineering concepts
