Course Objectives: It is intended to have knowledge of the students about operating and basic concepts related to operating room nursing and the role of other surgical team members and responsibilities and surgical interventions, skills on issues related to the realization of safe conditions.

Learning Outputs

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1. To discuss the basic concepts within the scope of operating room nursing,
2. To explain the steps of preparing the patient to the operating room.
3. To be able to question all aspects of patient safety .
4. To discuss the responsibilities of nurses in infection control .
