Course Objectives: | Learning the relationship between radiation and cancer. To teach the permanent effects of radiation on genetic material and cell. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; 1- Radiation, fission and radiations, 2- Carcinogenic effects of radiation, 3- General definitions for Radiation Oncology, 4- Tumor genetics, Biological structure of cancer, 5- Types and causes of cancer, Symptoms of cancer, 6- Cancer diagnosis and treatment modules, 7- World and Turkey cancer statistics studies, 8- Basic oncology, Clinical oncology |
Evaluation and preparation of the patient will receive radiotherapy, issues to be considered in radiotherapy applications are the content of this course. |
