Course Objectives: | Aim of this course is to instruct students about basic concepts of radiation and how to protect themselves, relatives and the environment. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; 1 - Explain radioactivity and radioactive decay. 2 - Describe the effect of early and late radiation. 3 - Applies the radiation safety guidelines. 4 - Compares the national and international applications of radiation safety. |
Basic concepts about radiation, short and long term effects of radiation, radiation protection methods, national and international radiation safety legislations are the content of this course. |
