Course Objectives: | This course aims to improve students' word knowledge, and improve skills on how to infer meanings of the words via different techniques. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; At the end of this course: 1. Students will be able to communicate with a rich word knowledge. 2. Students will be able infer the meaning of the words from the contextual clues. 3. Students will compare and contrast different words in terms of their structure and meaning. (In English and with the help of Latin) 4. Students will ne able to analyze the roots and suffixes and prefixes. |
