Course Objectives: | Flexicurity is a new concept and also a tool which is managing the challenges of globalisation and securing steady economic growth and employment. This course aims to make discussions on the provisions about Flexicurity in the light of the doctrine and jurisprudence, to identify the scope of application of these provisions and to determine the problems derives from them. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; I. Examines economical aspects of the flexicurity concept and its reflections on law system. II. Discusses the justifications of Flexicurity and its aspects of law. III. Analyzes the features and varieties of flexicurity in a labor contract. IV. Criticizes various termination procedures of labor contracts. Evaluates the termination of the employment contract by the employee or employer and its legal consequences according to the concept of flexicurity. V. Keeps track of new orientations in the field of flexicurity and gains a broad perspective. |
