Course Objectives: This course gives an opportunity to develop awareness of Turkish educational system in comparison with European countries. Within the scope of the course alternative solutions will be provided to the current Turkish higher education system. Various higher education systems in different countries (Canada, China, US.)will be examined under the topics of structure, system and administrative principles.

The students who have succeeded in this course;
I. To examine Tukish higher education system from different angles
II. To examine European countries' higher education system
III.To examine Turkish Higher Education system in comparison with Canada, China and the U.S.
IV. To develop recommendation for Turkish Higher Education

Course Content

Designed as a culminating experience in higher education administration, this course gives an opportunity to develop awareness of those internal principles and issues related to higher education mission and leadership and to lift the attention of students to more strategic policy questions and issues in national and international dialogue, furnishing some exposure to major ideas and scholars involved in those dialogues.
