Course Objectives: | This course is based on the acting techniques of Eric Morris. The primary aims of this course are to be able to direct actors in an efficient way, to understand the fine points of acting as an art. In addition, to have a creative approach in acting part of a TV serie or film, to understand the psychology of an actor and the relationship between the camera and the actor. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; 1. Acknowledge “acting” as an art, 2. Will be able to direct actors in an efficient and creative way, 3. İdentify the fine points of directing the actors in order to motivate them and get the most of their capacity, 4. Practice acting with Eric Morris Technique 5. Will be able to conduct the psychology of an actor, 6. Will be able to create a well balanced relationship with and between the actors, 7. Will be able to create the magical relationship between the camera and the actor. |
In this course, directing of actors in television and cinema and the relationship between the actor and the camera will be discussed. |

10) | Directing actors in scenes and shooting the performances. (All students will shoot one or more scenes all along the course. This shootings and directing skills will be evaluated as the examination) | ||
