Course Objectives: 1. Students are expected to read the related materials for each week and come to the online class discussions prepared. Class attendance and quality in-class participation is expected.
2. Students are expected to complete all assignments on time. Late work will not be accepted. Each week there will be a reaction or discussion topic which will be announced by the instructor on Its Learning. Students will be assigned to read some research conducted in the subjects and write a reaction paper on them and discuss them in online classes.
3. Students will work individually to prepare lesson plans, conduct observations in real classrooms during their practicum. The assignments will be announced by the instructor on its learning.

Students will be able to understand each current EFL teaching approaches like Bilingual Education, Differentiated Instruction, and CLIL-Content and Language Integrated Learning.
Students will be able to apply these approaches in their future teachings.

Course Content

This course provides an overview of current trends in EFL teaching approaches like Bilingual Education, Differentiated Instruction, and CLIL-Content and Language Integrated Learning. Class sessions will focus on theory and practice related to these three recent important trends in teaching and learning. In addition, students will be informed of the most recent research in teaching these approaches.
