Course Objectives: This course focuses on the discipline of design but mainly focuses on graphic design in relation to motion graphics, experience design, urban design, new media, fashion, typography, etc. It presents a span in the cutting-edge works of individual designers, design firms and artists and recent texts of design critics and historians. It highlights established figures influencing future generations under concepts such as physical, minimal, local, branded, social and narrative.

Learning Outputs

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Build ideas on the given visual and written materials, as well as discussions and their own research about then and now of design culture.
2) Be able to make projections about design's tomorrow.
