Course Objectives: The aim of the this course is to gain ability of using of physiotherapy and rehabilitation at obstetric and gynecologic problems.

Learning Outputs

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1. Know the anatomy and physiology of the female genital organs.
2. Describe the reproductive physiology.
3. Know the frequent urogenital problems in women.
4. Apply prenatal exercises during pregnancy.
5. Apply postnatal exercises after pregnancy.
6. Make urologic and gynecologic evaluation.
7. Plan physiotherapy and rehabilitation program in Incontinence.

Course Content

This course includes female genital tract anatomy and physiology, reproductive system physiology, common gynecological problems, prenatal assessment, assessment at pregnancy, common problems in pregnancy, prenatal exercise, exercise during pregnancy, postnatal exercises, urologic and gynecological evaluation, urologic and gynecological physiotherapy and rehabilitation, physiotherapy and rehabilitation at incontinence.
