Course Objectives: To give to students the ability of gaining knowledge and skill about elderly health.

Course Content

The concept of old age, physiological changes, the principles of using drug, old age and surgery, surgical care, problems of old age, emergencies, pain control, wound healing, nutritional disorders, fluid-electrolyte imbalances, acute confusion, syncope, thermoregulation disorders, falls, incontinence, sleep disorders, abuse, communication.
