Course Objectives: The aims of this course are to determine the basic principles of physiotherapy and rehabilitation of pulmonary diseases, to assess the steps to be followed, to gain knowledge and skills about planning of assessment and treatment for the patient.

1. Discuss the pulmonary system problems.
2. Stage evaluation parameters used in pulmonary disease.
3. Describe the exercise test.
4. Evaluate people with pulmonary disease
5. Define treatment approaches of pulmonary disease.
6. Plan and apply the treatment of people with pulmonary disease

Course Content

This course contains pulmonary system anatomy and physiology, pulmonary system evaluation, identification of pulmonary rehabilitation, bronchial hygiene techniques, rehabilitation at intensive care unit, preoperative and postoperative pulmonary rehabilitation, differences of pulmonary rehabilitation among neonatal and children.
