Course Objectives: The objectives of this course are to enable students to gain knowledge and skills for neurological diseases that affect the central nervous system, hemiplegia, traumatic brain injury, sclerosis, multiple neurodegenerative diseases, principles of diagnosis and treatment of tumors, diseases requiring physical therapy and rehabilitation.

Learning Outputs

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1.Recognize the most common neurological diseases.
2.Apply techniques general neurological examination.
3.Define diagnosis methods in neurological diseases.
4.Recognize the treatment methods of neurological disorders.

Course Content

This course covers neurological examination, epilepsy, spinal cord diseases, polyneuropathies, extrapyramidal system disorders, demyelinating diseases, cerebellar system disorders, cerebrovascular diseases, muscle diseases.
