Course Objectives: This course explain to orthopedic problems with assessment methods and treatment protocols which are using in orthopedic rehabilitation.

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1. Explain to orthopedic disorders with their similarities and diffirencies.
2.Knows to assessments of orthopedic disorders.
3.Knows to orthopedic rehabilitation methods.
4.Schedule to rehabilitation programme and apply to treatment protocols.

Course Content

This course includes; principles of early and late term rehabilitation, surgical and conservative treatment approaches for ortopedic disorders, case reports with pratic and teoric examples.

1) Assessment to orthopedic patients with perspective of physiotheraphy and rehabilitation.
2) Phsyiotherapy and rehabilitation of congenital orthopedic disorders
3) Phsyiotherapy and rehabilitation protocols of fractures for pediatrics and adults.
4) Phsyiotherapy and rehabilitation of shoulder and upper extremity.
5) Phsyiotherapy and rehabilitation of hip disease.
6) Phsyiotherapy and rehabilitation of knee and foot disorders and PRP applications
7) Mid-term exam
8) Phsyiotherapy and rehabilitation for structural differencies of lower extremities
9) Surgical and conservative treatments on spinal problems.
10) Tumors and rehabilitation
11) Artroplasty and rehabilitation
12) Phsyiotherapy and rehabilitation for artroscopic treatments
13) Phsyiotherapy and rehabilitation of neurological orthopedic disorders.
14) Evidence based orthopedic phsyiotherapy and rehabilitation
