Course Content

Operations importance in transportation, urban and transportation relation, mistakes in urban transportation, transportation policies for livable urbans, basic operation components, performance concept and components (level of service, source consumption), demand-performance-capacity-source consumption relations, transportation network types and characteristics, transportation modes and operation types, vehicle rotation and specifying the routes, timetables, vehicle-personnel tables, fleet dimensioning, demand-supply equilibrium, fare strategies.
