Course Objectives: | *Learning of urban, urban managements (local governments), basis, theories and concepts of urban politics, *Leraning of General public organisation of Turkey, municipalites position in this organisation, regulations ve mechanisms, *Comparing of Turkey's and Europan Union' s local governments, determination of problematic areas, discussing of international normative subjects and documents , *General discuss and evaluation of urbans in terms of social, economic and administrative phases. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; Learning of concepts and approaches about local governments, urban space and urban politics. Understanding of urban politics in terms of large scales in regional, national and international phases. Knowing of different local governance systems and ability of comparing of different experiences. |
Urban, urban management (local governments), basic concepts, theories and discusses of urban policies. Urban management, its statute, structure and function mechanisms in Turkey’ s general governance organization. Comparing of EU and Turkey’ s local administrations. Daetermination of the problems, discussing the problems in global scale. |
