Course Objectives: | Course objective is giving detailed information about urban roads, safety and road design. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; Learning road design Evaluation of road design in terms of safety Learning capacity analysis and traffic management in urban roads |
Comprehensive information on all engineering measures for improving the safety of vehicles that get in to the roadside zones. Discussion of the measures that can be taken in order to minimize the effects of collisions. Presentation of detailed information on roadside railings, importance of signs in improving the road safety. Investigation of roadside safety concept with examples from Turkey and the world. |
