Concept of logistics, evolution of logistics, logistics management, fundamental logistics activities, supply chain management, outsourcing, third party logistics (3PL), fourth party logistics (4PL), e-logistics, urban logistics, its importance, definition and scope, its stakeholders and components, issues in and solutions for urban transportation. Logistics/Transportation sector in Turkey and logistics centers, classification of logistics centers. Organized logistics regions and their characteristics, services, feasibility, and determination of scale and position. |
