Course Objectives: | The main objective of this course is to teach the methods for analyzing energy efficiency in various systems, most important of which is buildings, and also to discuss how energy can be utilized more efficiently. Energy savings and efficiency will be studies in terms of both electrical energy and heat. Furthermore, legal regulations regarding energy efficiency will also be covered. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; i) Summarize the studies on energy savings and efficiency in a chronological manner ii) Discuss how electrical energy can be utilized more efficiently iii) Discuss how energy efficiency can be increased in thermal systems iv) Classify the possible actions that can be taken on energy efficiency in buildings v) Analyze the national and international laws and regulations on the field of energy savings and efficiency |
