Course Objectives: The course of higher education policy, national, regional and institutional context will be discussed. Existing policies will be examined in the context of past policies and practices. The course will cover the following topics: Government plans, the Turkish higher education, higher education policy, an overview of the historical process, the resources allocated to higher education, higher education policy compare policies from different countries, cooperation agreements with different countries, OECD, World Bank, Erasmus, the European Higher Education Network, Bologna process.

Learning Outputs

The students who have succeeded in this course;
Increasing the knowledge about higher education institutions, interpreting, shaping, and public and private sector by transferring the necessary knowledge and technologies gerçekleştirebileceklerdir use.

Various models of higher education in different countries by assimilating the Turkish higher education policy more clearly understand the comparative techniques.

Course Content

Content of the course, students at higher education policy and international experts have studied this issue by adopting the sample models benefit from the experience and projects, to illuminate the history of the Turkish higher education policy is that until today to learn how breath taking.

Course participation of all students, to be carried out as a group will be based on studies and experiences. Information for the development of short seminars and lectures, group work and oral presentations for the development of skills, attitude and behavior change values for the simulation and as a basis for group discussions and conferences envisaged in-depth discussion of preparing the ground.
