Course Objectives: | Family therapy traditionally represents a circular understanding in psychotherapy and the focus is not on the individual but on the family system. This course offers a critical evaluation of major schools of family therapy such as: Structural therapy, strategic therapy, MRI approach, psychoanalytic family therapy. At the end of the course the students will have an understanding of the basic methods and techniques that a family therapist uses. |
