Course Objectives: The course aims student to gain knowledge, to have opinion and apply knowledge to concrete cases in following topics: Development of international rules and standards about Maritime; structure, activities and importance of International Maritime Organization; protection of sea environment, providing maritime security; international regulations on issues like responsibility and compensation.

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1. They gain knowledge required to interpret international maritime law
2. They gain basic knowledge on maritime trade law
3. They gain basic knowledge on law of maritime nations
4. They gain competence in executing legal issues through learning degree of influence of national and international maritime organisations
