Course Objectives: This course aims to analyse legal possibilities to resolve international commercial disputes. In this context, the jurisdiction of Turkish courts, especially choice of court clauses and international commercial arbitration process will be treated.

Learning Outputs

The students who have succeeded in this course;
I. Learns available solutions to resolve international commercial disputes.
II. Analyses jurisdiction clauses.
III. Constructs the relation between choice of law and choice of court clauses.
IV. Learns the concept of international arbitration and basic principles governing international arbitration.
V. Knows the basic principles of the recognition and enforcement of foreign court and arbitral awards.
